Sara Dellantonio is Associate Professor in Philosophy of Science in the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science at the University of Trento, Italy. Her main interests are in Philosophy of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences. She received her PhD in philosophy from the University of Bremen (Germany), where she also taught several courses. She was a visiting scholar in the Department of Philosophy of Columbia University in New York (US); a research fellow at the Centre for Cognitive Sciences of the University of Bremen (Germany) and visiting fellow at the Centre for Critical and Cultural Theory of the University of Cardiff (UK). She collaborated in founding the journal Rivista Internazionale di Filosofia e Psicologia and is now a member of the Editorial Board. Together with Luigi Pastore she recently authored the book Internal perception. The Role of Bodily Information in Concepts and Word Mastery. She has also authored and edited a number of other national and international publications.
