Mara Bertolaso
Marta Bertolaso is Professor of Philosophy of Science and Human Development at the Faculty of Science and Technology for Humans and the Environment, University Campus Bio-Medico of Rome (Italy). Her expertise in philosophy of science and scientific practice and in philosophy of complex organized systems with a strong scientific background has allowed her to promote and collaborate in interdisciplinary research and educational projects. She is currently focusing her work on an integral understanding of the biological developments and of complex adaptive dynamics in living systems, and on the notion of progress, human work and soft control in management in the light of the new AI technologies too. Since February 2018, she has been the scientific director of the “Humans and Technology” section of the website Saluteuropa and she is the Editor in Chief of the Springer Series “Human Perspectives in health Sciences and Technology”.
