Gustavo Cevolani is Associate Professor of Philosophy of Science at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca. He teaches philosophy of science, critical thinking, and neuroethics to PhD students of different disciplines. His research interests are mainly in general philosophy of science and formal epistemology, with a focus on rational decisions, the analysis of scientific and ordinary reasoning, the notion of cognitive progress, and methodological issues of social and behavioral sciences.
